Guggenheim Insider Sentiment is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before the Fund's fees and expenses, of an equity index called the Sabrient Insider Sentiment Index (the Index). The Index is comprised of approximately 100 securities selected, based on investment and other criteria developed by Sabrient Systems LLC, from a universe of U.S.-traded securities, including master limited partnerships and American depositary receipts. As of Aug 31 2013, the Fund's total assets were $136,932,166 and its investment portfolio was valued at $136,594,458. The BSCE average annual return since 2020 is shown above.
The Average Annual Return on the BSCE average annual return since 2020 page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annualized return over the past ten years (or specified start date) for a given investment
(up to the end of prior trading session recorded). Arguably, choosing ten years for a measurement
period is on the one hand completely arbitrary, but on the other hand provides a sufficiently long window
to capture long-term trends.
Thus, researching Average Annual Returns is good practice for investors — whether BSCE average annual return since 2020 or other benchmarks/peers
— and when doing so it is also important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annualized return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon. Our website aims to empower investors
by performing the BSCE average annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
