Guggenheim BulletShares 2023 Corporate Bond is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before the Fund's fees and expenses, of an investment grade corporate bond index called the NASDAQ BulletShares® USD Corporate Bond 2023 Index (the "2023 Index"). The 2023 Index is a rules-based index comprised of high yield corporate bonds with effective maturities in the year 2022. The Fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets in component securities that comprise the 2023 Index. As of May 31 2015, the Fund's total assets were $18,504,372 and the Fund's investment portfolio was valued at $18,216,765. The BSCN average annual return since 2014 is shown above.
The Average Annual Return on the BSCN average annual return since 2014 page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annualized return over the past ten years (or specified start date) for a given investment
(up to the end of prior trading session recorded). Arguably, choosing ten years for a measurement
period is on the one hand completely arbitrary, but on the other hand provides a sufficiently long window
to capture long-term trends.
Thus, researching Average Annual Returns is good practice for investors — whether BSCN average annual return since 2014 or other benchmarks/peers
— and when doing so it is also important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annualized return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon. Our website aims to empower investors
by performing the BSCN average annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
