Traeger is the creator and category of the wood pellet grill, an outdoor cooking system that ignites all-natural hardwoods to grill, smoke, bake, roast, braise, and barbeque. Co. designs, sources, sells, and supports wood pellet fueled barbeque grills sold to retailers, distributors, and direct to consumers. Co. produces and sells the pellets used to fire the grills and also sells Traeger-branded rubs, spices, sauces and meal kits, as well as grill accessories (including covers, barbecue tools, MEATER smart thermometers and merchandise). A significant portion of Co.'s sales are generated from customers throughout the U.S., and Co. continues to develop distribution in Canada and Europe. The COOK stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the COOK stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2022 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the COOK annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
