The iShares MSCI International Developed Value Factor ETF (the “Fund”) is an open- end management investment company. The Fund seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of international developed large- and mid-capitalization stocks with value characteristics and relatively lower valuations, as represented by the MSCI World ex USA Enhanced Value Index (the “Index”). The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index. As of Jul 31 2015, the Fund's total assets were $2,484,583 and the Fund's investment portfolio was valued at $2,473,672. The IVLU average annual return since 2015 is shown above.
The Average Annual Return on the IVLU average annual return since 2015 page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annualized return over the past ten years (or specified start date) for a given investment
(up to the end of prior trading session recorded). Arguably, choosing ten years for a measurement
period is on the one hand completely arbitrary, but on the other hand provides a sufficiently long window
to capture long-term trends.
Thus, researching Average Annual Returns is good practice for investors — whether IVLU average annual return since 2015 or other benchmarks/peers
— and when doing so it is also important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annualized return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon. Our website aims to empower investors
by performing the IVLU average annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
