Lordstown Motors is an original equipment manufacturer of electric light duty vehicles focused on the commercial fleet market. Co. is engaged in developing its primary vehicle, the Endurance, an electric full-size pickup truck. The Endurance has four electric in-wheel hub motors. Co. has a supply and licensing agreements with Elaphe Propulsion Technologies Ltd. to produce the initial batch of required hub motors. Each hub motor and inverter pair are controlled by a central supervisory powertrain controller that manages traction, slip and efficiency on an axial basis. Co. has developed its own proprietary powertrain controller software and algorithms using instantaneous torque control. The RIDE average annual return since 2019 is shown above.
The Average Annual Return on the RIDE average annual return since 2019 page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annualized return over the past ten years (or specified start date) for a given investment
(up to the end of prior trading session recorded). Arguably, choosing ten years for a measurement
period is on the one hand completely arbitrary, but on the other hand provides a sufficiently long window
to capture long-term trends.
Thus, researching Average Annual Returns is good practice for investors — whether RIDE average annual return since 2019 or other benchmarks/peers
— and when doing so it is also important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annualized return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon. Our website aims to empower investors
by performing the RIDE average annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
