Through its subsidiary Silvergate Bank (the Bank), Co. provides financial services that include commercial banking, commercial and residential real estate lending, mortgage warehouse lending and commercial business lending. The Bank's primary market is California, but it purchases and originates loans and solicits deposits throughout the U.S. The lending of the Bank is concentrated in two primary niches: single-family residential real estate and commercial real estate (including multi-family residential properties).
