The Trust seeks to attain its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its assets in municipal obligations that pay interest that is exempt from United States federal income taxes (except that the interest may be subject to the United States federal alternative minimum tax). Under normal market conditions, the Trust invests at least 80% of its assets in securities rated investment grade at the time of investment. The BKN stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the BKN stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2022 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the BKN annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
