Coeur Mining is a gold and silver producer, with mines located in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Co. produces gold and silver dore, as well as gold concentrate. The dore produced at the Palmarejo complex and Rochester mine, as well as the concentrate product produced by the Wharf mine, is refined by a geographically diverse group of third-party refiners into gold and silver bullion. Co. then sells gold and silver bullion to multi-national banks, bullion trading houses, and refiners across the globe. Co.'s gold concentrate product from the Kensington mine, and the smelters and traders pay Co. for the metals recovered from the concentrates. The CDE stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the CDE stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2022 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the CDE annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
