Conifer Holdings is an insurance holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. has organized its business model around three classes of insurance businesses: commercial lines, personal lines, and wholesale agency business. In its commercial lines business, Co. provides bundled insurance products to small business owner-operators. In its personal lines business, Co. targets homeowners in need of specific catastrophe coverage or dwelling insurance that are under-served by the insurance market. The wholesale agency business increases the product options to Co.'s independent retail agents by providing both insurance products from its subsidiaries as well as products provided by other insurers. The CNFR stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the CNFR stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2015 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the CNFR annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
