Cincinnati is a holding company for Cincinnati Federal, a federally chartered stock savings and loan association, that is primarily engaged in providing a range of banking and financial services to individual and corporate customers. Co.'s business consists primarily of taking deposits from the general public and investing those deposits, together with borrowings and funds generated from operations, in one- to four-family residential real estate loans, and, to a lesser extent, nonresidential real estate and multi-family loans, home equity loans and lines of credit, and construction and land loans. Co. also invests in securities, which consist primarily of mortgage-backed securities. The CNNB stock yearly return is shown above.

The yearly return on the CNNB stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site, is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2021 for the given stock. When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.

One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors by performing the CNNB annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
