Guggenheim BRIC is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance of an equity index called The Bank of New York Mellon BRIC Select DR Index (the Index). The Index consists of American depositary receipts (ADRs) and global depositary receipts selected, based on liquidity, from a universe of all listed depositary receipts of companies from Brazil, Russia, India and China trading on the United States exchanges. As of Aug 31 2015, the Fund's total assets were $92,173,567 and the Fund's investment portfolio was valued at $91,444,049. The EEB average annual return 10 years is shown above.
The Average Annual Return on the EEB average annual return 10 years page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annualized return over the past ten years (or specified start date) for a given investment
(up to the end of prior trading session recorded). Arguably, choosing ten years for a measurement
period is on the one hand completely arbitrary, but on the other hand provides a sufficiently long window
to capture long-term trends.
Thus, researching Average Annual Returns is good practice for investors — whether EEB average annual return 10 years or other benchmarks/peers
— and when doing so it is also important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annualized return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon. Our website aims to empower investors
by performing the EEB average annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
