The iShares MSCI Eurozone ETF (the “Fund”) (formerly the iShares MSCI EMU ETF) seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of large- and mid-capitalization equities from developed market countries that use the euro as their official currency, as represented by the MSCI EMU Index (the “Index”). The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index. As of Aug 31 2015, the Fund's total assets were $1,739,186,953 and the Fund's investment portfolio was valued at $1,662,356,124. The EWP stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the EWP stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2018 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the EWP annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
