WisdomTree Total Earnings Fund is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks investment results that correspond to the price and yield performance of the WisdomTree Earnings Index (the Index). The Index is a fundamentally weighted index that measures the performance of earnings-generating companies within the United States stock market. The Index is earnings-weighted in December to reflect the proportionate share of the aggregate earnings each component company has generated. As of Mar 31 2015, the Fund's total assets and investment portfolio amounted to $133,131,184 and $132,963,768, respectively. The EXT average annual return 10 years is shown above.
The Average Annual Return on the EXT average annual return 10 years page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annualized return over the past ten years (or specified start date) for a given investment
(up to the end of prior trading session recorded). Arguably, choosing ten years for a measurement
period is on the one hand completely arbitrary, but on the other hand provides a sufficiently long window
to capture long-term trends.
Thus, researching Average Annual Returns is good practice for investors — whether EXT average annual return 10 years or other benchmarks/peers
— and when doing so it is also important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annualized return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon. Our website aims to empower investors
by performing the EXT average annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
