Frequency Electronics is engaged in precision time and frequency generation technology. Its technology is used for space and non-space applications. Co. operates under two reportable segments, primarily aligned with the geographical locations of its subsidiaries: FEI-NY, which provides precision time, frequency generation and synchronization products and subsystems that are found on-board satellites, in ground-based communication systems and imbedded in mobile platforms operated by the U.S. military; and FEI-Zyfer, which designs, develops and manufactures products that provide Precision Navigation and Timing, primarily incorporating Global Navigation Satellite System(s) technology. The FEIM stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the FEIM stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2017 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the FEIM annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
