HighPeak Energy is an independent oil and natural gas company engaged in the acquisition, development and production of oil, natural gas and NGL reserves. Co.'s Target Assets consist of the Grenadier Assets and the HighPeak Assets, which primarily include certain rights, title and interests in oil and natural gas assets located primarily in Howard County, Texas, which lies within the northeastern part of the Midland Basin. The HPK stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the HPK stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2021 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the HPK annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
