HV Bancorp is a bank holding company. Through its subsidiary, Huntingdon Valley Bank, Co.'s principal business consists of accepting retail deposits from the general public in its market area and investing those deposits, together with funds generated from operations and borrowings, primarily in one- to four-family residential mortgage loans, commercial real estate loans (including multi-family loans) and other commercial business, construction loans and, to a lesser extent, home equity loans and home equity lines of credit and consumer loans. Co. provides a selection of deposit accounts, including savings accounts, money market accounts, certificates of deposit and checking accounts. The HVBC stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the HVBC stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2022 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the HVBC annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
