The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Developed Real Estate ex-U.S. Index (the Index). The Index measures the stock performance of companies engaged in the ownership and development of real estate markets in developed countries (except for the United States) as defined by the Index provider. As of Apr 30 2015, the Fund's total assets and investment portfolio totaled $1,010,266,875 and $1,003,138,700, respectively. The IFGL stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the IFGL stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2018 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the IFGL annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
