The Index measures the performance of U.S. dollar-denominated U.S. Treasury bonds, U.S. and non-U.S. government-related bonds and investment-grade U.S. corporate bonds that have a remaining maturity of greater than or equal to one year and less than five years. As of Oct 31 2015, the Fund's total assets were $586,300,085 and the Fund's investment portfolio was valued at $575,714,205. The ISTB stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the ISTB stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2015 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the ISTB annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
