PowerShares DWA Developed Markets Technical Leaders Portfolio is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Fund's fees and expenses) of an index called the Dorsey Wright Developed Markets Technical Leaders Index. The Index includes equity securities of issuers from countries deemed to have developed economics, selected by the Index provider, and is designed to identify companies that demonstrate powerful relative strength characteristics. As of Oct 31 2013, the Fund's total assets were $522,364,217 and the Fund's investment portfolio was valued at $513,713,829. The PIZ stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the PIZ stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2014 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the PIZ annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
