AMMO is a designer, producer, and marketer of ammunition and ammunition component products for sale to a variety of consumers, including sport and recreational shooters, hunters, individuals seeking home or personal protection, manufacturers and law enforcement and military agencies. Co. ships its ammunition in the form of cartridges (or rounds), and also ammunition casings. Co. typically produces centerfire cartridges in which the primer is in the bottom, or center of the cartridge, rather than rimfire cartridges in which the primer is in the rim of the cartridge. Co. also provides ammunition casings for pistol ammunition through large rifle ammunition. The POWW stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the POWW stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2018 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the POWW annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
