The lending activity of the Bank is primarily comprised of the origination of single-family, multi-family and commercial real estate loans and, to a lesser extent, construction, commercial business, consumer and other mortgage loans to be held for investment. The Bank provides a selection of deposit instruments, including checking, savings, money market and time deposit accounts. The PROV stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the PROV stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2022 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the PROV annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
