iShares Residential Real Estate Capped is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the FTSE NAREIT All Residential Capped Index (the Index). The Index measures the performance of the residential, healthcare and self-storage real estate sectors of the United States equity market. Components primarily include real estate investment trusts. As of Apr 30 2015, the Fund's total assets and investment portfolio totaled $325,773,374 and $325,463,813, respectively. The REZ stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the REZ stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2019 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the REZ annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
