Market Vectors Retail ETF is an open-end management investment company. The Retail Index is comprised of common stocks and depositary receipts of U.S. exchange-listed companies in the retail industry. Such companies may include medium-capitalization companies and foreign companies that are listed on a U.S. exchange. As of Sept 30 2013, the Fund's total assets were $42,755,614 and its investment portfolio was valued at $42,723,680. The RTH stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the RTH stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2016 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the RTH annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
