ProShares UltraShort Real Estate is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks daily investment results that correspond to twice the inverse daily performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Real Estate Index (the Index). The Index measures the performance of the real estate sector of the United States equity market. Component companies include those that invest directly or indirectly through development, management or ownership of shopping malls, apartment buildings and housing developments, and real estate investment trusts. As of May 31 2013, the Fund's total assets and investment portfolio totaled $76,271,886 and $74,139,646, respectively. The SRS stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the SRS stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2020 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the SRS annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
