ProShares UltraShort Semiconductors is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks daily investment results that correspond to twice (200%) the inverse (opposite) of the daily performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Semiconductor Index (the Index). The Fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, including any borrowings for investment purposes, to investments that, in combination, have economic characteristics that are inverse to those of the Index. As of May 31 2013, the Fund's total assets and investment portfolio totaled $16,786,895 and $16,786,587, respectively. The SSG stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the SSG stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2018 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the SSG annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
