Guggenheim China Real Estate is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks investment results, which correspond generally to the performance of an equity index called the AlphaShares China Real Estate Index (the Index). The Index measures and monitors the performance of the investable universe of publicly traded companies and real estate investment trusts deriving their revenues from real estate development, management and/or ownership of property in the People's Republic of China or the Special Administrative Regions of China, which are Hong Kong and Macau. As of May 31 2015, the Fund's total assets were $35,163,970 and its investment portfolio was valued at $34,860,560. The TAO average annual return 10 years is shown above.
The Average Annual Return on the TAO average annual return 10 years page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annualized return over the past ten years (or specified start date) for a given investment
(up to the end of prior trading session recorded). Arguably, choosing ten years for a measurement
period is on the one hand completely arbitrary, but on the other hand provides a sufficiently long window
to capture long-term trends.
Thus, researching Average Annual Returns is good practice for investors — whether TAO average annual return 10 years or other benchmarks/peers
— and when doing so it is also important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annualized return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon. Our website aims to empower investors
by performing the TAO average annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
