United States Commodity Index Fund (the Trust) is a series trust organized into two separate series (each of the U.S. Commodity Index Fund and the U.S. Copper Index Fund is referred to as a Trust Series and collectively, the Trust Series). Each Trust Series is a commodity pool that issues shares representing fractional undivided beneficial interests in such Trust Series that may be purchased and sold on the NYSE Arca, Inc. The affairs of the Trust and each series thereof are managed by United States Commodity Funds LLC. The USCI stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the USCI stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2021 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the USCI annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
