Willamette Valley Vineyards owns and operates vineyards and a winery located in the state of Oregon, and produces and distributes wines, primarily Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Riesling. Co.'s wines are made from grapes grown in vineyards owned, leased or contracted by Co., and from grapes purchased from other nearby vineyards. The grapes are harvested, fermented and made into wine at its Turner winery and the wines are sold principally under Co.'s Willamette Valley Vineyards label, but also under the Griffin Creek, Tualatin Estate, Pambrun, Maison Bleue, Natoma, Metis and Elton labels. Co. also owns the Tualatin Estate Vineyards and Winery, located near Forest Grove, OR. The WVVI stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the WVVI stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2018 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the WVVI annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
