Willamette Valley Vineyards owns and operates vineyards and a winery located in the state of Oregon, and produces and distributes wines. The wines are sold principally under Co.'s Willamette Valley Vineyards label, but also under the Griffin Creek, Tualatin Estate, Pambrun, Maison Bleue, Natoma, Metis, Pere Ami and Elton labels. Co. has two segments: direct sales, which includes retail sales in the tasting room, wine club sales, online sales, on-site events, kitchen and catering sales and other sales made directly to the consumer without the use of an intermediary; and distributor sales, which includes all sales through a third party where prices are given at a wholesale rate. The WVVI stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the WVVI stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2023 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the WVVI annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
