SPDR S&P Aerospace & Defense is an open-end investment management company. The Fund's investment objective is to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of an index that tracks the performance of multinational blue-chip issuers. In seeking this objective, the Fund uses a replication strategy. As of June 30 2015, the Fund's total assets and investment porfolio totaled $185,340,525 and $185,241,159, respectively. The XAR stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the XAR stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2017 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the XAR annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
