CorEnergy Infrastructure Trust is a real estate investment trust. Co. primarily owns assets in the midstream and downstream United States energy sectors that perform utility-like functions, such as pipelines, storage terminals, rail terminals and gas and electric transmission and distribution assets. Co. has provided financing loans to owners and operators of energy infrastructure real property assets, secured by such assets and related equipment, as well as by the outstanding equity of the borrowers. The CORR stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the CORR stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2019 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the CORR annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
