Equitrans Midstream is a natural gas gatherer in the U.S. and holds a transmission footprint in the Appalachian Basin. Co. provides midstream services to its customers in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio through its three primary assets: the gathering system, which includes predominantly dry gas gathering systems of gathering lines; the transmission system, which includes U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission-regulated interstate pipelines and storage systems; and the water network, which primarily consists of water pipelines and other facilities that support well completion and produced water handling activities. The ETRN stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the ETRN stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2023 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the ETRN annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
