The Guggenheim China Small is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance of an equity index called the AlphaShares China Small Cap Index (the Index). The Index is designed to measure and monitor the performance of publicly traded mainland China-based small capitalization companies. As of May 31 2015, the Fund's total assets were $333,700,242 and the Fund's investment portfolio was valued at $332,369,115. The HAO average annual return since 2024 is shown above.
The Average Annual Return on the HAO average annual return since 2024 page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annualized return over the past ten years (or specified start date) for a given investment
(up to the end of prior trading session recorded). Arguably, choosing ten years for a measurement
period is on the one hand completely arbitrary, but on the other hand provides a sufficiently long window
to capture long-term trends.
Thus, researching Average Annual Returns is good practice for investors — whether HAO average annual return since 2024 or other benchmarks/peers
— and when doing so it is also important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annualized return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon. Our website aims to empower investors
by performing the HAO average annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
