Photronics is a manufacturer of photomasks, which are photographic quartz or glass plates containing microscopic images of electronic circuits. Photomasks are a main element in the manufacture of integrated circuits (ICs) and flat-panel displays (FPDs), and are used as masters to transfer circuit patterns onto semiconductor wafers and FPD substrates during the fabrication of ICs, a variety of FPDs and, to a lesser extent, other types of electrical and optical components. Co. supports customers across the spectrum of IC production and FPD technologies by manufacturing photomasks using electron beam or optical (laser-based) lithography systems. The PLAB stock yearly return is shown above.
The yearly return on the PLAB stock yearly return page and across the coverage universe of our site,
is a measure of the annual return over the calendar year 2021 for the given stock.
When performing this calculation it is important to factor in dividends, because a financial instrument's annual return is
more than just the change in price if that instrument pays a dividend or coupon.
One way to factor dividends into the return is simply to count them as cash — we don't do
that here. Instead, our website aims to empower investors
by performing the PLAB annual return calculation with any dividends reinvested as applicable (on ex-dates).
